INFORMATION COLLECTED

Cardgigs collects information from our Users through a registration process. The registration process includes gathering information such as contact information, employment history, company information, and job descriptions. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from or about minors.

USE OF CONTACT INFORMATION AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

Cardgigs uses your contact information to communicate information. We use your account and email contact information to communicate information on available jobs, new Website features and services, Cardgigs events, and general updates. Except as described in this privacy policy, we do not disclose your personal information including your name, address, email address, phone numbers, etc., to any outside parties, unless we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, enforce or apply our Terms of Service, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Cardgigs Users or others.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Cardgigs offers job seekers the ability to post their resume in the Cardgigs database. This information is released to an employer or agency when the job seeker specifically applies for a job with that company through the Cardgigs website. Such action requires logging into the Cardgigs system through a secure login to ensure the confidentiality of job seekers. We do allow resume searching by certain employers or agencies. In order to protect the confidentiality of our job seekers, you have the ability to HIDE your resume from such searches, or leave your resume viewable but keeping certain personal information in your resume confidential using Cardgigs profile settings.

SHARING INFORMATION AT THE USER'S REQUEST

Job seekers may request to have their resumé and/or other collected information sent to a third-party industry recruiter and/or staffing agency. This is entirely volutary and only done upon request by the job seeker. The information is only shared with the intention to aid the hiring prospects of the job seeker, not to solicit or market new services to the User.

COMPANY INFORMATION

Cardgigs allows employers and agencies to post viewable information to Cardgigs website visitors including a profile of the company, company logo, and job descriptions. This information is not private, and is viewed by Cardgigs website Users who register and log into their Cardgigs account. The contact information of employers and agencies may be kept confidential by using Cardgigs profile settings.

UPDATING ACCOUNT INFORMATION

As a registered Cardgigs User, you have the ability to change your personal information at any time. To change information, please Login to your Cardgigs account and visit your profile page where you will find the information for making such changes.

SECURITY

All registered User’s information including contact information, resumes, profiles, job descriptions, etc, is password protected. It is important that you protect this information, and do not release it to any third party. If this information is released, please Login to your account and change your password immediately. After you have completed using your account, you should log out and exit the browser window so no unauthorized person can access your account information.

POLICY CHANGES

We may periodically alter this privacy statement. In the event that we do this, we will post those changes on this Website. Information will be handled according to the privacy statement in effect at the time the information is used. Your continued use of the Cardgigs Website following such changes will mean you accept those changes.
